Q

Help! Trying to sell olympian training programs, but tanking hard.

Hi redditors,

I run a fitness company that specialises in creating and selling training programs from Olympians. We meet up with the Olympians, get all their training routines, insights, film some exclusive content, put it all in a "masterclass-type" program and sell it. Problem is... we've barely sold any.

Even with the Olympics right now, you'd think people would be going berserk for these... nope. We've had between 200-400 views for each training program, yet only had max two sales for each. That's not a good conversion rate!

The landing pages for the athletes are a bit "meh," but I believe they are good enough to still be getting more purchases than 1-2.

Maybe it's because we don't have any reviews yet (new company) and this usually scares people off?

Btw, each athlete we have built a program with has a link to the product on their instagram. These athletes have between 2000-12000 followers, so we are getting a small but constant stream of traffic coming into the sight.

Could you please give me a sight review and let me know of what I can improve?

eCom Site - Athete Example: https://fit.ripletic.com/product-page/slalom-surge

A

Well the site is actually very "meh" - I train myself and when I land on the site I see no benefits that would convince me to spend money, just a very average pic of the said athlete which looks like you've downloaded it from Google. It definitely needs a redesign in terms of looks and messaging.

You have great benefits, working with them directly and you're not using this.

• that video of Tim Anderson should be top of the site (but not auto play) - *it's hard to figure out how to slide pics and therefore the video is lost, despite being a massive messaging bonus.

• You say Slalom Surge - someone inexperienced is going to say" wtf is this?" it would sounds a lot better if named Slalom Surge by Tim Anderson or something.

• Highlight your USP. I just see a wall of text which is hard to read.

• *Highlight what every training, exercise does - which muscle group, whether it's strength or durability or growth. People want results, they need to know what they sign up for.

• Make the add to cart option slide down with the page instead of fixed.
