So I got a message from a guy on IG about helping with ecommerce. He says he will offer a 1-on-1 coaching program where he builds stuff for me and then hands it over. However, I couldn't find anything online about this guy. His IG has been active since 2018 but doesn’t have much content, and some of the pics are showing off but are not even well done.
Everything he says makes sense, especially regarding dropshipping with fast shipping. I asked him to show me some proof of his legitimacy, and he sent me some videos of brand new Shopify stores that aren't completed and that I could probably create in a day. He also shared his Telegram chats with other people, which I couldn’t see inside of—just a list of people he’s messaging.
But yeah, I just don’t get how his account has been around since 2018, and I can’t find any reviews on him. I'm also curious if he has connections with fast delivery dropshipping suppliers, as that would be a significant advantage.

Sounds a little fishy. Also if I'm reading right it's going to do a site and hand you the site and you're going to have to figure out how to host it in an upkeep it in management manage the hosting that's probably not a good idea.

Scam mate. Take it as someone who fell for one in their teens - they might actually give you something at the end of it, but it won’t be good
On your point about his account being around since 2018 - I know so many people personally who have had their accounts hacked, name changed @ changed and everything. In my opinion, I wouldn’t let that be a factor in determining if someone is legit or not. My opinion anyway

Ya but i got on call with the guy and everything. I dont think he is a scammer, but i have doubts he will teach me the important part which is getting actual sales. Everything he advertised to me i alrdy know. He said he will get me to 10k / month in 3-6 months but as proof showed me no revenue
Again, only my opinion mate so it may mean nothing to you, but doesn’t sound convincing. Why would he build something that was making a shit ton of money, just to hand it off to you? Did he discuss how you were going to drive traffic? Did he discuss things like sourcing product, branding? This is most definitely a scam mate. If you want to roll the dice, better you than me unfortunately, but everyone else on this thread is saying don’t do it

yea, no im definitely not doing it because i know w/e he is trying to sell me seems like a half ass product, but i am just confused about so many things about him, like how he has been doing this for years and yet his proof and online presence is shit. And if hes scamming people, how has his account not been flagged, at tthis point im just curious.
